Looking Again

Two weeks and two days ago I lost my job at DriveTime. I was devistated because I had no idea it was coming. Here's what happened. I worked as an Operations Coordinator at the Broad Street location for six months before my new supervisor, Stephanie Ross, was transfered from the Mechanicsville store. Just as I was getting used to a Senior Operations Coordinator who actually performed any duties, since Cherlonda Strayhorne aka "butt-gut sluggard hore" she replaced cowarded from her position, she pulls an okey-doke. A customer comes to the window to sign some Loan Modification paperwork and asks if her mother, who is also on the loan, needs to sign as well; her name and signature line appears. Stephanie tells her if her mother's name appears on the paperwork then she needs to sign as well. So the customer says "No one told me that. I didn't bring her with me. So, what. I have to come back with her." Stephanie says, "Just go ahead and sign her name. Make sure the signatures look different." I'm looking at her like seriously. She looked at me and said, "I've seen MOD's get rejected because they didn't have that second signature." The customer signed the paperwork and left. Then Stephanie sent the signed papers to Loan Services to get approved. Here's where I messed up. I notated the account stating that both customers signed even though my gutt told me to state that only one customer signed. It didn't feel right, but by the time I spoke with my General Manager about what happened it was too late. Three days later I was fired; right before Stephanie. The lesson: ALWAYS follow your insticts. They will never steer you wrong. If I had followed mine, I'd still be employed there and making the kind of money I've been waiting to make for a few years now. Instead I'm looking for a new job...again.
